So I have a Merkel Helux in .308 and I absolutely love it. Great fun but not the most accurate rifle I own, one sugggestion a gun smith had was to re barrel it with a competition barrel,
So I wondered if anyone has had any experience of rebarrelling a Merkel barrel. My gunsmith seems to think...

I’m based in South Oxfordshire and looking for a gunsmith to do the following work on a rifle:
1. Screwcut for moderator (doesn’t need to be proofed);
2. Fluting of rifle bolt;
3. Glass bedding the wooden stock.
Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith to do this? Any suggestions welcomed!
Thanks
