Bullets containing lead is banned in 90% of German driven hunts, 75% of driven hunts in Poland, 75% of driven hunts in Hungary, 50% of driven hunts in Latvia, 50% of driven hunts in Croatia.
75% of driven hunts in Sweden and Norway, 100% Lead ban in Denmark from new year.
There are simply not a lot of places left in EU where lead bullets are allowed. Personnally i dropped lead bullets 2012-2014, when they started to ban lead on more and more of the driven hunts i used to go, in Germany, Croatia and Latvia.
I think there will be a 100% lead ban within EU within the next 3-5 years.
I live in Denmark, Here lead was banned in shotguns 20 years ago, now we use mainly steel shot, and from new year 2023-24 lead is banned for hunting in rifels. I reallety only very few have been using lead bullets in theier rifels the last couble of years, because we Danes tend to go hunting across EU, ist much easyer without lead bullets. After all its bad to travel a long way, just to get banned from shooting because of some ammunition issue.
I know you are still allowed to use Lead bullets in UK, but remember, when you travel to a driven hunt in EU, is will in most cases be up to the individual hunting manager on the spot to decide if he wants to allow lead or not.
