17 Hornet

Been using it 20 years in the .22 very often at that and even with silly loads , not a single incident. . I now just drop a full case full of LilGun no bother but no .17 experience worth mentioning
Yh that’s what I’ve read and heard with a 22 h just fill her up with lilgun scrape some back to seat a bullet and off you but I’m guessing because the 17 is a lot more overbore it spikes a lot easier no real world experience from my end I chose n 120 and as of yet to reload still getting through some factory s and b for the cases

My load I've used for years.
20gr bullets use N120 or RS36 they're pretty much interchangeable. 11.4gr for 3640fps (Fireforming load 9.8gr).

Sinclair case trimmer, they make cutters for everything.

Have reloaded 17 hornet for several years.
N110 10gr with 20gr hornady vmaz works well
Also Lilgun 9.8 gr same.
Thats what I use anyway. Have 2 x cz rifles (one with a shortened barrel. And same load works well in both.
