Hi all
Does anyone have a 17 WSM B if so what the story, is it all it's made out to be or a flash in the pan.
Would like to here your thoughts on this cal, I believe Savage arms are the only one's using this calibre.

Regards

Thanks for this info, if it can match a ceasefire rd ie 223, or close, it will sell well over here as we can't reload, so price wise ammo will work out well.

edgar brothers got a package deal going at the mo. Savage B-mag 17 wsm stainless target, edgar brothers swivel bipod, scirocco 17 wsm mod, butler creeck sling, with a bushnell 4-12x40 scope for £825-£850 . bought one few weeks back zerod it not had chance to use it in ernest yet. first inpressions nice stock seems to shoot well, cheap plastic trigar gaurd lets it down. The bolt action is a little sloppy compared to my cz but thats they way they have made the bolt, may take a bit of getting used to. But all in all for the money its ok. The other offering here in the uk is the ruger 77/17 same rotary style mag but £1130 just for the rifle ruger 17wsm probably better made but is it worth twice the price of the savage? hopeing to get out with it soon sowillupdate then.
