200 meters of 10mm rope

How do you manage this. I will in the first instance use from my truck, maybe later with a Capstan. I thought a hose reel but I think 60m is about the max on these.
I like the idea of temporary clamping to the truck tailgate to wind it in, or is stuffing in a bag the only way.

Rope winder.
Mine has 200 meters of 10 mm rope that fits easily. I also have a further 100 meters in a rope bag.
The winder is much easier to use.
Kind regards,
Bob.

where you buying rope bags from?

Paul
Climbing rope bags often have fold out mats to keep the rope clean and tackle webbing etc and are £££!
You probably want any breathable drawstring bag you can get cheap
We have our retired climbing rope in old canvas army kitbags

I have a DMM porter 70L bag, it's brilliant not the cheapest can't remember where I got it or what it cost me, but I think in the region of £60/70 I have it since 2018 I work with 150M of 10mm rope and feel it's more than enough for most any situation, believe me it's plenty weight wise especially when you factor in the winch it all adds up.
