This morning has been kind to me two bucks taken in the last 30 mins , time for a cuppa and a sandwich , so good to be out again

Successful morning for me

Both earmarked to come off since doe season, saw 2 decent bucks too that I’ve left for the gene pool

Out the door at 4:30 and in the high seat at 5:00 saw a roe doe and buck. He was pretty young and didn’t present himself to a shot. Also a doe and buck muntjac, stalked them for 45 mins. Unfortunately I could just start to feel the wind on my neck when I was putting the rifle on the sticks, and just as I was lowering the crosshairs onto the spot his nostrils were flaring and pegged it. No shot but great to be back out again!

Oh yes.... well done.... me jealous? nah ….never…. Can't even get out onto the river and try for a few trout or early sea trout unless wee Nicola says aye!

He did was a nice healthy beast mate the other was a bit scrawny neither was going to make anything antler wise , glad I caught up with them
