Beretta, unfortunately, not my favorite either but it was cheap, and it's nice and light... nice knockabout gun though.

Squirrel feeder in good use so a little sit out this am. Parked truck in house drive and shot 6 off the feeder with. Annie. None over 30 yds so tad easy. Didn't even need to use the thermal. Had a low level fly past by a male sparrow hawk. That made the am.

One yesterday, only took about 10 shots out of the .410 to persuade it out of the tree!

Out for an hour yesterday after stalking, finished on 5, hammered them in this copse end of last year but going to pop in every month or so to keep on top of the battle casualty replacements!

Didn't get out over Christmas as laid up with a nasty lurgy but did manage to nail one with the .222
It was on the side of the tree (at the bottom)
I was in the window you can see in the distance.

Wheat for me, as it's what they are used to with the pheasant feed. Some crazy fools use peanuts

I only use peanuts in the garden for the birds. It's not set up so squirrels can reach across from a tree easily at all.....

Friday saw me take nine at the end of play both off feeders and walk and stalk these four were taken one after the other in rapid succession aim shoot reload repeat all done literally as quick as I could reload .

Where do you keep getting those old but good Winnie’s from? I wish I could still get them, better than the rubbish they turn out nowadays. I’ve given up on their current offerings. Good shooting anyway SD

Couldn't agree more, the old super X are brilliant but the new 42gr ones are garbage
