Every one with any country sense like blasting squirrels so if I may I'll start.
Out with the 410 and reloads.

Got three today.

I will have to wait until the end of the pheasant season before I can go after them. Then I am going after them with a vengance. They chew round the lids on the feeders and leave them vulnerable to the rain. They have eaten more feeders this year than ever, and are going to pay the price !

I had 12 on my previous outing and another 10 or so on my latest outing which brings the total up to about 60 this year I think.

can you fit tin or wire mesh so as to stop that?

Hopefully tomorrow I will purchase a dedicated "Squirrel Gun" a Synth Mossy Hush in 410 to have some fun with when I go on the feed round.... but I have resorted to trapping in the meantime, got three today which was a full house as I only had three traps out, put another three out this afternoon, I'll put another three out tomorrow.

Been smashing them with my FAC Crown for 2024 three the other day, but I’m on them all year round which helps keep the numbers down .

I cant moan too much - in fairness to the old couple they do have some real good birds on their feeders and tables
I just shoot the squirrels and get the larsen on the crows and the magpies hahahahah
