2026 Six Nations.

Yes a paddy field, but the ground didn't appear to cut up at all?
Indeed, just too much rain in a short period for the drainage to cope with, but not like the mud baths of old...... I remember many years ago when I was young and stupider as a scrum half - at the end of some matches you couldn't tell who was on what team as it was like watching wallowing hippo's!

Jaysus that was not nice to watch.
I didn’t know that I could hold my breath for 80 minutes, outbursts of expletives excluded.

At the Ireland game earlier. Ugh not much to be excited for but I guess the younger players need bleeding in given the ageing side we currently have. Italy are certainly improving and I always enjoy going to that fixture but knew the subs at half time would make a big difference. Tempo improved but the accuracy was still poor, we looked casual at times. We really have dropped the standards.

All that being said, What the hell happened England? Was only last week pundits were talking about being ready for France and genuine title contenders. Scotland weren't even in the conversation and why would they be after being beaten by Italy. This game is mad sometimes.

Hard to see who puts up a fight to at least make France work for it.

I wish.......you could guarantee I and my opposite number would get a good kicking within the first 10 minutes of a game - apparently it was "character forming".......
Which probably explains my previous "character forming" broken fingers.....
