So, if someone in Scotland applies for a Firearm Certificate saying he/she wants a .204, with Roe as their good reason, it will be granted? Can anyone name such a person?
But now vmax are ok?
i said ideally...but yes vmax will suffice as like using a .204, ITS LEGAL...
50gr@3300fps gives 1209 ft-lbs
Hornady offer their 223 50gr GMX load which does 335fps and their 53gr v-max superformance does 3465fps.
So both of those loads exceed your hypothetical 204 load
Until you can find someone who has been granted a FAC for a .204 solely for use on Roe, people will doubt that it would ever be granted, I'm afraid.the answer is yes it would be granted as its legal....and to the second part no I don't know anyone....

you have land that you have permission to legally shoot roe... .204 is roe deer legal...how can they refuse it?
Because it is outside of home office guidance, which tells them that .222 is minimum. They are risk aversed and will not step outside of the rules, and quite rightly so.
By just saying "NO".you have land that you have permission to legally shoot roe... .204 is roe deer legal...how can they refuse it?
so 17hmr is never granted for fox then
