T3X Lite .223 Ammo

What are people putting through their T3X Lite in .223?

I used to use the Sako 50gr Ballistic Tip but they're no longer available.

I've tried the hornady and they're not going through the rifle very well.

I've managed to get a few boxes of the Sako 50gr soft point and they're better but still a bigger group. At 200 it really opens up.

I'm going to give the rifle a good clean today with Boretech Carbon Solvent to see if that helps.

I've got some Federal to try too but also soft point. May be able to get some Norma today with ballistic tip.

Below is the Sako 50gr softpoint

Mine doesn’t like super performance nearly as much at the 55gn gamehead. Rarely get exits on foxes but they are soup inside and never get a runner if I do my bit

This is what I managed to pick up from the dealer today.

Small bloody fortune there!
Norma tipstrike are pretty good. I've used them in my 223 and a mate in his 22250.
out of the three boxes there, the Norma looks like the best quality ballistic tip. Quite a few of the Sako ones are misshapen or not quite concentric with the projectile
