222r and 50gr V-max on roe

Not sure they are, my 1:14 .223 AI has been fed a steady diet of those for the last few years, very, very accurate.

Also quite splattey šŸ˜‚ I would use them for head or neck shooting deer, not sure I’d trust them on deer. Mind you I had a 80 gr TTSX turn on a muntie shoulder and exit the top of the neck last week, requiring a follow up, so nothings a given!
Same here - 50 gns Vmax are my go-to bullet in my 1:14 Remmy 700; lazer-like and very accurate too…

I have a Heym BBF i cal. 222r.
Been looking for a copperbullet for a while but they seem to be problematic in a 1-14" barrel. And fot that price i don't want any half-good precision. So now i bought me some 50gr Vmax.

I have understood that with good shot placement, they can be good for roe deer.
Anyone have experience with the combo?

Happy new year!

We developed a 50gr Fox factory load for .222 and .22-250 1:14ā€ barrels
Shoots very well even in 16ā€length barrels

Bullet has large hollow point and expands well
