.22LR Moderator - Which One to buy ???

I have also tried the small over barrel model from Wildcat, I can't for the life of me think of the name of it, but it is made specifically for the .22rf and is a real treat, light and quiet.
Cost is probably about £60 too.

quietest thing about mine is the fact it is bolt action.
the browning semi auto I grew up on makes more noise cycling than the report!

They cost a lot more over here and to pay such a high sum for a .22rf moderator is being a little bit extravagant.
Incidentally, do you have the same rigmarole when buying moderators in Norway as we do here in UK?

Hi, they cost just shy of N.KR 500 over here. Luckily moderators are off ticket over here and anyone can purchase them.

Hogan Silencer is the ******** and only £50!! Very,very quiet much better than the sak/wildcat whisper! IMHO

Closer to twice that, £120 was the last price I saw, which is what I paid 2 years or so back.
I didn't keep it long, the very slight difference was just not worth the money to me.

Yup I'm now using an original Wildcat Cub, all plastic and cost about £30, not the quietest about but good enough for me.
I doub't the bunnies really care, they seem to sit about while I pop them off.

That's about £50 I think, so £10 less than over here.
