YarpStandard velocity subs are around 1060 - 1070 fps.
With the normal BC of 1.2 for solids and 1.1 for HPs, the ballistic profile lends itself perfectly to a milrad reticle.
Give or take 0.1 mil here or there…
60m = zero
70m = 0.5 mil
80m = 1.0 mil
90m = 1.5 mil
100m = 2.0 mil
Easy as.
This and what are you intending to shoot at?What distance do you intend to shoot at?
Same.54yds for me
Excellent choice.Zero at 18yds,second zero will be around 52 yds.Crosshairs just above your targets head at 75yds.
When I had my 10/22s, I never zeroed them, there didn't seem to be any point.
Indeed. Mount the scope as low as possible, as it flattens the trajectory.Depends on height above bore for the scope more
of course it does not flatten trajectory , low mounts generally minimise the offset at shorter ranges though . High mounts mean it can be tough to hit small targets at shorter ranges , however when you get further out the high mounts actually help with the offset better .Indeed. Mount the scope as low as possible, as it flattens the trajectory.
A veey high intermediate Grange impact, I assume.I'm zeroed at 100m at the moment.
I zeroed it at the range. 100m was fun with the sub sonic hunting rounds.A veey high intermediate Grange impact, I assume.
@Druid do you have the source for this chart please - or the full article? Would be interested to read it. Thanks.
