26mm rings

Could you tell me what height I would need for a 8x56 scope please, they are listing 8,12 and 14 mm?

I want to say the 14mm will just make it but I couldn't be sure. The height of your receiver and barrel contour all come into play.

Machine up a pair of aluminium inserts to fit 30mm rings.......that will fit a 26mm scope tube.Or you could machine them out of Delrin plastic if you prefer.I did a set for a customer recently who had purchased a old German scope thinking it had a 1" tube....no rings available here so made the inserts instead, problem solved.
