I shoot this calibre.
Thoroughly recommend it.
180 grain Barnes TSX, mild hand load it’s shot all UK deer apart from CWD, and causes less carcass damage than the .243 I used to have.

I am serious. Bigger bullet travelling slower than .243 = less bruising and ‘snorting’’. More meat available for butcher.
Please note this is a homeloaded 300WM - not a factory round.
