300aac or 7.62x53?

I’m renewing and swapping a slot for a 300 blackout, but not sure how I want it listed in my certificate.

I’m thinking 300aac but am I missing something?

May be slow to view this thread as I am working away and the hotel I’m staying at has blocked anything shooting related from their internet connection!! Have to switch off WiFi to get on here!! But appreciate any info anyone can offer.

Try the Aloha app, it is what I use for restrictive WiFi.

CIP lists it as:

"300 AAC Blackout"

I've understood that in UK you might want as broad designation as possible, so "7.62" would be best (if possible)?

BTW you must've flipped the numbers in title and mean "7.62x35"?

Definitely not 7.62x53, the case isn’t that long to start with, before it’s necked up and trimmed!

7.62x53 is the Finnish variant of 7.62x54, you'd have to get a Finnish Mosin.

My mistake, it was 7.62x35 (not 53).

I am renewing and FLO asked exactly what I wanted as a new slot, wasn't sure the best way to have it listed on the certificate.

Went for 300AAC
