300AAC subsonic help please

Hi there

I'm looking for some help please from the quick load community.

Is anyone kind enough to run the data for a190grn Hornady Sub-X bullet using Hodgdon Lil' Gun in a 16" barrel ?

I'm after the load that this closest to the speed of sound, so say about 1100fps so I can work backwards from there to find one that groups.

I tried this one and it recommends 8.3grn. My ears told me it wasn't subsonic but when chrono'd it averaged 1403fps which confirmed my Mk1 ears lol.

I havn`t used that bullet or powder I only tried 9-10gr VV n120 with a 165gr bullet.

I tried Lil Gun using 8.0 grains with a 200 grain. Worked well from my CZ. -Muir
