I see both exits are out through the offside jaw. Do you aim for the centre mass of the head when headshooting? It's a shot that I have never attempted.
The hanging deer you can see the exit woond due to the angle of shot. You cant see the entry wound as it was inside the fluff of the opposing ear
But this was a 308. The 243 blows half the head off on the exit side
The spiker I posted earlier is the entry wound (243) and was low and to the left of aim point but the point was it was a BT and hit bone so the exit side was a total mess nothing could survive
For obvious reasions I dont have many exit wound photoes but hers one you can zoom in on. Entry point is in front of the ear on the other side and it took most of the top of its head off
I'd not discount head shooting, but generally I'd consider the risk of things going bad much lower from a front or rear shot. Side on head shots make any mistakes more likely to result in injury (shot off jaw etc), in my opinion. Not a criticism, just something to consider.....
