.375 H&H Rifles

How does the safety fit in with the stock AB,IE any large gaps? Is there any need for stock material removal?
Last one can you find the link lol...I would like one on my 602 10.3
The safety came with a spacer to block up the gap. Doesn’t look unsightly at all. Not sure if any stock material was removed. I just need to get mine blued……

Thank you.

I had a Brno 602 in 375 hh and used it on one trip, got rid after missing out on an animal of a lifetime. Put the cross hairs where needed, safety off and nothing but a click, and target vanished into cover! bloody backward safety.
That's not a rifle fault, it's a lack of familiarity with the rifle. Very unfortunate though, and a reason that the rifle didn't work for you personally. It's not an uncommon issue mind, in fact I believe aftermarket safeties are available to change them to a more common configuration.

I use mine most months at the range, or just handle it at home. The function of a dangerous game rifle has to be completely instinctive.

Edit... I've just read more comments after yours - looks like it's already been covered, sorry.

What scopes are folks using on their 375’s for UK use? I have a 1.25-4x Leupold with IR that I bought for African use and it seems a bit low powered on the top end. I would like to take it out after reds here.

Zeiss diavari 1.5-6x42 but I also have a Swarovski Z6 1-6x24EE on a bigger hammer which is excellent

1.5 -- 6 x42 Swarovski .
For Africa and UK use. I only use 300gr bullets, though I have used 235gr Speer in the past in the UK.

I had a fairly inexpensive , but totally reliable , scope on my last one . It was a Leupold Vari X2 , 2 to 7 , it worked very well . I have to admit , I didn't use the higher power , other than range work , very often .

Speaking to a mate on the blower tonight he was telling me how he picked up an H&H double rifle in .375 H&H then the frigging phone went dead as he was getting to the details.
