Wanted: 4stable sticks

Very much a long shot however - has anyone managed to break their 4stable sticks at the top? I unfortunately managed to snap mine (dog ran in to them...) and it's snapped two bottom legs.

Failing that, anyone got a set of decent sticks?

Cheers

I need a rear yoke for my set of 4Stable Sticks after snapping it by over extending them. The email address doesn’t work so anyone got any other avenues to explore getting parts?

I found 4Stable sticks customer service very poor, equally matched by the NO help given by there uk importer and the supplier i bought them from, ended up machining my own missing pivot.

I found them very responsive when I needed a spare Y piece / rear mount. I’d try them first.

I found them to be very good to deal with, even sending spares FOC. The issue was the spares didn't fit/were the wrong parts and I was going on a trip so bought viperflex instead

When I lost the secret in the rear X of the shooting sticks I emailed and the send me out a replacement free of charge

I've had no problems getting hold of spare fronts, rears or bottom bits for my 4stable sticks from the manufacturers - only gripe is expensive postage - more than the bits themselves.

I have a spare front and a rear somewhere if anyone is looking for one.

Thanks all, I will live in hope, having completed the customer contact form. In the meantime I’ve used two length of 12 mm copper pipe, drilled for the screws and central bolt. Not as good as the real thing but it works, whilst I wait for parts. These sticks go on every outing with me, so will try everything possible to keep them running.

Send me a pic of what bit you need. I think i still have my old parts so if I've got what you're after, you can have it for postage. Can't promise its the right bit mind 😂

Thanks @hendrix's rifle for your kind offer, but the contact form came up trumps ( can we still say that get into the US?).

The OEM in France sent me the replacement rear yoke free of charge and with a refreshing lack of packaging - just a small cardboard box with the part rattling around inside - excellent!

Really pleased to have them back in full working order - light, affordable and instantly deployable, not sure I would find an “upgrade” to this great design., especially considering 4 Stable Sticks excellent customer service.

I'll take the 4stable over the viperflex! Far better sticks.

I couldn’t disagree any more!

2 mates broke their stablesticks in the first 2 weeks, not abusing them just using as intended. One of them replaced the part, only to have it break again. Cheap rubbish.

I had some of the old ones which, in fairness, were excellent-which had led me to advise my mates to get them. I left these on the hill (they were found and I have them as a spare set) stupidly and in the interim I had a moment of madness I bought a set of basic vipers (elite?). A revelation. Much much superior in every way aside from bulk. They have put up with unreal abuse, frequently used to drag reds between 2 of us, absolutely no issues.

At some point in the last few years there was a giant change in QC in the stable sticks, it’s a shame as they were very good.

So the stablesticks i bought were from my local RFD and were clearly there a while at the low price of 50 odd quid! They broke when a 30 odd kg pointer pup had a mad one and ran in to them whilst deployed so I can't really fault the sticks. I'm sure my current vipeflex would also break if he did the same thing 😂

It would be interesting to see if the stablesticks have changed in recent years.

Yeah my old stable sticks were great, black aluminium jobs? The green ones they do now… @NickJ broke his by putting a rifle on it 🤣
