no feller i use the sitting one's for bunny bashing or long crows and sit on one tim .243 ditch or tree seats , my tall sticks can be used sitting or any other as i have a steady rope like an a frame at my sitting hight so no probs with one set out stalking

I carry mine with the legs extended but move the securing strap to the top of the bottom section where it is easier to reach. They are very useful when lamping rabbits with a scope mounted lamp as you can pan around at just the right height.
