I have been loading Hornady Monolithics for my 6.5 but not getting great results. So I have bought some nosler e-tip 120gr to try next has anyone got any load data for them to try and save some time?
I will be using them in my sauer 404, standard length flutted barrel. It has a very long throat in it too. Thanks in advance.

Nosler bullets seem to like a long jump. I have never found a Nosler bullet that performed best when seated close to the lands.
I use 43gns Viht. N550 typical OACL is 3.040" I'm using Remington 9 1/2 primer. In my rifle I chrono at 2.700fps
Clearly you should work up your load safely.
Good luck

not with Nosler, but with lapua 139gn I was struggling to get any good results, as luck would have it, I happened to be next to a german chap on the range who was murdering the V with a 6.5 x55. My ability with a Sauer was looking a bit sad, after a chat about seating length he recommended N560 and sticking with SAMI and stick with the slightly heavier bullets ( I didnt do so well with 120gn either) , Suddenly it was shooting as good or better than my AI. lesson learned !

Thank you for the info I will bear all this in mind when trying to load these!

Viht N560 is better with heavier bullets in 6.5x55SE for 120gn bullets although not listed N550 is great. Burn rate is between IMR4350 & IMR4831

What weight of powder do you recommend with the N550? I have got a 1lb of it still for another rifle I load for

I use 43gns Viht N550 with the 120gn bullet. (Remington 9 1/2 primer).
For safety you should work up to this with your own rifle, maybe start with 5% less. I think there's tolerance to go beyond 43gns, but I decided 2700fps and resulting performance were pretty much all I needed, so I didn't go further with load development.
As I said in my first post, Nosler bullets like a decent jump to the lands.
