would any one hazard a guess or have any information if the above will offer the 7 PRC? They have offered 6.5 PRC. I know tikka & Sako do now along with a number of others. I have a space for 7mm RM, but given the choice would prefer 7 PRC as more versatile long term. I would prefer Sauer ideally.

7 mm RM is a fabulous all rounder with provenance

7 WSM is pretty much exactly the same as 7 PRC

They all do the same thing

Case is irrelevant

But like the discussion that creedmoor is better than 260 is better than 55

Just get what’s on your ticket 👍🏻

most likely will, and agree with the above I understand it is splitting hairs to a certain extent. The twist rates give the 7 PRC an advantage particularly for copper.

Ah - factory rifles perhaps

I know half a dozen folk who use LTS for deer work with RM

7mm PRC is very powder critical and has struggled to really live up to it's own intentions. I have one and although it a capable performer, it's nowhere near what was advertised, and used to be sith early batches of ammo 2 years ago, when the `secret sauce` was available....This has been admitted.

Michael Rainback will make you a very high quality barrel for your R8 in 7PRC. The cartridge shines with well tuned home loads and will shoot well with a number of powders. I use RS76 and am getting very good speeds with zero pressure. Remarkably good recoil for something shooting 180 grain bullets at 2950FPS

I spoke with Blaser Germany and they said that it was in development with the engineers but they could not say when it would be available

Amazing many thanks, when was it roughly you spoke to them. I have same emailed but Blaser UK seem to give a standard response. I know it seems like splitting hairs between the two but 7 PRC would be more versatile long term.

Just go for the 7 rem mag….fantastic round and does everything it says on the box and that is not the case with the 7PRC

I have got a reply of sorts from Blaser group. Sounds like Blaser are going to introduce 7mm Rem mag but not in the Sauer 505 on in the R8, not sure why that is. My preference is for a 505 so will be a 7 RM.

Was at the end of June start of July
