Does anyone use a 7mmWSM? Got a bit of a hankering for one of those at the moment. I think I can probably get a 175 ELD-X to 3000 fps with a 26" barrel which would be a real wind cheater for long distance work.
My go to stalking rifle, a Merkel K1 7x65R with a Nickel scope. Very accurate rifle and a joy to carry and shoot. My favourite load is 175 gr nosler partition with 52 gr norma mrp, gives about 2500 fps. Good for all game up to moose.
