Saw this beast ruttng this morning so asked a couple of Southern friends if they fancied a travel up for him but unfortunately not.
A three hour wait this evening but he turned up and was an easy relaxed shot at just over 200m.
Another stunning old beast.

Near certain he's a lad that we have seen for 5 years and has always had a cracking head. The give away is the weaker side with the shorter brow tine which he always held.
Put pics and clips of him on FB every year, but he didn't appear last year at all so presumed he was nailed.
Again, all documented on FB but the march was a burn and i never saw him cross that burn although once got him on the trail camera. No matter how much i tried to call during the rut he just would not oblige.Used to watch him walk the burn bank at no more than 100m and would not come over.
He was still on the far side this time but luckily a farmer i know has bought that ground so i have access to it now.
Another beast i've known for so long and outstanding when the time comes.
Work tomorrow so that will maybe do until the weekend.
Have a couple of older lads that i've seen for years that i wouldn't mind falling in with but no issues if not.
