A GRS Stock Colour Conundrum….

How’do! Ideally (I use that term loosely) I’m after specific photos rather than people’s opinions but, I know, it’s social media 😂😂

So - very shortly I’ll be taking ownership of my shiny new GRS Sporter Stock in Green Mountain Camo (it’s been quite a while coming due them usually only being held in dealer’s stock for those weird “right handed” folk 🙄). As part of the project I’m also getting the barrel and action (Tikka T3) cerakoted before it’s fitted. There’s several cerakote colours I really like but very hard to picture alongside the stock in my mind. I’ve managed to find a few pictures of complete rifles online but none with the exact colours I have in mind.

So - what I’d really like is if anyone already owns a Green Mountain Camo stock - could I trouble you to take and post a picture of your rifle and (unless it’s obvious ha ha) a note of what specific colour you’ve had the barrel done in.

I have one for an FAC Crown, absolutely fantastic. Not only do they look good (very important when crawling about fields) but they help with gun fit which is always a problem when you're a 6ft4 orangutan like me. Definitely worth a punt from both a form and function point of view, albeit not the cheapest not lightest thing in the world.....

Yes - that’s a bit of my issue too - albeit an inch shorter. I do like my Tikka (two of them) but I’ve never got on with the synthetic stock. What colour is your barrel etc? Or just standard?
 
The more I look at them with stainless barrels the more I fancy putting it on my .223 which has a stainless barrel and doing something totally different with my .308 which is just the plain blued. Hmm 🤔

Yes they inlet for it, I’ve had all 3 of mine pillar and action bedded,
And got 2 sporter and one varmint.
