A GRS Stock Colour Conundrum….

I would advise anyone looking to buy a grs stock to try one first to make sure you like it.
I bought 2 of them but couldn't get on with them so sold them again.
Some people love them
 
i had one on my sako 85 and later on a FAC crown air rifle and as mentioned try before you buy .

i just couldn't gel with them , as much as i wanted too the position of my thumb and general trigger hand just felt uncomfortable

Yer like them, if I find one at a sensible price il be putting on on hmr too,
Mine are now 7-8 year old, been in a truck near daily, on quad regularly, in buggy’s near daily too, in sun, rain, snow, the lot. If you’re near north Herefordshire more than welcome to come have a look.

So - very shortly I’ll be taking ownership of my shiny new GRS Sporter Stock in Green Mountain Camo (it’s been quite a while coming due them usually only being held in dealer’s stock for those weird “right handed” folk 🙄). As part of the project I’m also getting the barrel and action (Tikka T3) cerakoted before it’s fitted. There’s several cerakote colours I really like but very hard to picture alongside the stock in my mind. I’ve managed to find a few pictures of complete rifles online but none with the exact colours I have in mind.

So - what I’d really like is if anyone already owns a Green Mountain Camo stock - could I trouble you to take and post a picture of your rifle and (unless it’s obvious ha ha) a note of what specific colour you’ve had the barrel done in.

Not got this stock but I had my winny cerakoted in flat dark earth and it looks great.
No too green or too brown!!
 
Hmmm…. More good ideas! I am leaning slightly towards putting the stock on my stainless .223 and getting my .308 cerakoted in full ….. and then probably buy another stock for that… 😂😂 decisions, decisions! Stock arrives in the next few days so I’ll have a good look at it.
