Nice surprise from the sainted Lady FB - High Tea in the Titanic Ballroom, Belfast in the company of the Irish Guards. Delighted to be sharing a table with an old Guardsman. A brilliant event!

As an Irish Guards aside, a good pal of mine lost his great uncle during the Kaiser’s attack in March 1918.
Only a few weeks before his tiny army issue bible, carried in his breast pocket, had stopped a bullet hitting him square in the chest.
