A really wild beaver and it can read a clock…

Its like the wild deer at many stately homes ... they are wild but you can get within 20 feet of them :)

Is it me?
Absolutely “Wild” and not seen since the Welsh Princes ….. err…. “be there at 6 o’clock and you can film it…”.
I wonder where they hid the release cage before filming started…..
Wild beaver filmed on River Dyfi in 'hugely significant' moment
You couldn’t make it up….. or could you?

Plenty of people posting on here for advice about shooting a problem fox get told to wait for it at the same time of day/night that it was seen before, and we don't make a mockery of that bit of sensible advice.

Nothing unusual at all about animals being regular in their behaviour.

Pap for the masses IMHO.

The article, yes.
But the fact that the animal's behaviour is predictable - which is what you were poking fun at - is probably correct.
Not exactly - more a cynical reference to “wild” beavers which have probably until very recently been fed at the same time every day by their keepers.

I think the river Dyfi beavers have been there for quite a while, in the wild. They're not in an enclosure, and I don't think they were part of a release program. So not kept and fed. At least, not recently.

I hope you are Tim!

An example of what the little darlings can do. I took this on the roadside beside the Tay below Aberfeldy a couple of years ago, this was only one of a line of severely damaged mature trees on either side of the road. Such is local concern that two gentlemen are employed to look for any trees which may fall on the road and injure someone…
Their release and impact is not generally well thought of locally but when did that ever matter….
