It made me wonder as well. I asked the shop where I got these to contact Barnes and let them know as its poor QC.I wonder how often that happens with bullets that are not visibly different?
A slight degree of tolerance I could accept.... .264 vs .50 is pushing itWow, quality control at its finest..... at least its quite obvious, if it wasn't it could have made for an interesting reload.
We digitally weighed a box of .22lr round by round a while back and found a 6 grain difference from the lowest to the highest.
Always wondered afterwards if those unexpected flyers we sometimes get are due to this discrepancy?
