Yes tartinjock I do.
I don't know how I could tell whether it was "suited" to the calibre other than to tell you that it groups well, is very light, and suppresses noise to acceptable levels. It also allows me to retain a sight picture so that the bullet strike can be observed.
Its the best mod' Ive had bar none.
Cheers

Just wasn't sure if the punch of the .270 was calmed enough through the CMM4, I currently have a Wildcat fitted to it which does the job, but with the CMM being that small, I wasn't sure.
I think the problem with moderators is there is always a compromise also the lads that are developing them are improving month on month christ quicker than a mobile fone. So next months could see that all important invisible mod that will tame and silence a .338 lap
I would say yes, it does a good job of calming the not inconsiderable punch. Your wildcat will probably be more effective but this thing is so light that the joy of carrying it (for me) outweighs the possible marginal negatives.

I am trying to work out what to replace the T8 with and i think a north star might do it but the CMM is attractive. Being a little thuggish with a .270 I am also wary that it might be a little fragile.....
I have one on a 25-06 tikka, brilliant mod, very light and it dosnt effect the balance of the gun, also you see and hear the bullet strike.
Would definatley recomend the ATEC.
I have an A-TEC for my 243.(girl'y gun) which i cant fault.
Exceptionally light 220g, with good balance and acceptable noise levels.
The bonus of the modular system being you can add more stacks if required
for about £30-35 (bearing in mind you are increasing the overall length.
Have one on my 30-06AI. 125 gns bullets @ 3400 ft per second and can still see the strike...and hear my wife calling for supper later in the day. Gets my vote.
