A6 Avant 3L Diesel fuel economy

Towing a trailer is quite effortless with it. The goodyear summer tyres need upgraded to winters to prevent it becoming a 2 tonne icehockey puk. You'll need a good tow kit with it you seen to find a lot of other vehicles struggling to stay on the road.

I have Michelin Cross Climate all season tyres on my Allroad which are lasting well and giving good, if not exceptional, grip on all surfaces. I have a mild remap to just over 300bhp, and the car is reasonably rapid, but it's no sports car.
It's quietly competent on all fronts, and noticeably better build quality than my old BMW E46.

I've had the car for a couple weeks now. Enjoying it thoroughly, glad I went for one. All sound mechanically apart from an MOT advisory for a corroded rear subframe which I spent a few hours this afternoon scrubbing with a wirebrush and coating with a layer of hammerite and replaced some blown fuses. I looked up the price for that part beforehand and can be had for a couple hundred quid, so no doubt I'll be replacing that in the future. A small oil leak somewhere to investigate but don't mind getting my hands dirty, looking forward to working on a car again. Think I got a bargain, hopefully can enjoy it for many years to come. Thanks all for your comments and experiences
