@steve19 met Steve and his lovely bairn in April early heatwave Oundle, not only is he a proper gent and all round good guy who represents shooting in the best light, but he is a bandit who has refused payment for a good turn, I have made a charitable donation to CHAS Home and hope to see him for a beer sometime. The Talbot Hotel is well worth staying in if you're in that part of the world, built from stone and fittings from the palace block at nearby Fotheringay Castle where Mary Queen of Scots was beheaded in 1587, it is not only gorgeous but a very comfortable and hospitable place to bide, great food, real ale and lovely staff. The town is stunning.
