Adexa mincer reviews?

Looking to see if anyone has experience with adexa mincers? Was looking at the ‘MGSS12’ model.
From reading other posts on here things I picked up on was people saying important points were to have a decent size motor, fully stainless steel, and reversable is a bonus.
I tryed phoning up today to try find out information but was in a big cue and never had time, although it claims to be fully stainless, is it actually? Or cheaper Chinese copy?
And is this particular model reversable? In the photo I see it has a reverse button but it doesn’t describe it in the description.
I certainly wont be doing a mass of mincing so not looking to spend big money however looking to buy the best I can for the money and something that will last, (£300-400 bracket).
Tre spades seem to get a good enough review but the bigger size model seems to have a cast worm etc.
what’s the verdicts? Cheers!

Tre Spade 12 inox has stainless worm and housing.

Adexa - what is the country of manufacture? 🤔

The model you are interested in should be able to fulfil your needs. I’ve had a non-Adexa badged one for more than ten years, and used it every week to prep a significant amount of mince for farmer’s markets during that time. I was sufficiently concerned about having a backup mincer in case it ever broke down (thus jeopardising my returns) that I bought a backup mincer (Tre Spade no. 12 inox) as an emergency spare. I only used the backup mincer once to check that it was going to work in the event of any breakdown. Now retired, I’ve since sold the Tre Spade mincer - not because it was a bad machine, its great, if a bit noisy in use, and I’d say it had a better quality worm drive housing etc, but because the machine I had and still have worked fine. Over time, the original square drive pin housed in the worm face which accepts the knife and plate wore sufficiently to prompt me to get a friend with a lathe to make a replacement for it, which has not worn like the original did; other than this it worked without complaint.

Be sure to have your trim cut up into small pieces before mincing, and that both meat trim and the worm and housing, knife and plate/s have all been well chilled before you start.
