Adjustable IR torch mount.

Mine as shown earlier originally cost a tenner posted and have lasted 8 years .
Happy with these ,obviously everything is improved over time but " if it ain't broke, don't fix it ."

I have all three mentioned. Most robust is a Burris Zee Signature mount. Next L Lums v good. Finally the metal adjustable one from Ant supplies. All work but if you have a small torch Burris is best.

I agree with farmerjoe - Ludicrous lumens plastic mount. It's QD, very light and you can tension the adjustability with a thumb wheel. Unless you have a large lamp objective it's great.

LL mount doesn't adjust very smoothly, might have to polish them (I have few). Also you have to get them real tight to prevent "bump adjust", and the beam moves a little at the final tightening. Also the picatinny interface isn't the best (bit play there also, depending on tightening).
I’ve been using this mount for a while and I’m exasperated by it moving out of alignment no matter how I tighten it. Even the flex within the 3D printed body is too much.
I’ve now given up having spent £££ on various ill designed and engineered mounts and made my own.

I bought one as well but gave up on it for the same reasons.
I have a cheap fixed mount from alliexpress now that just happens to put the beam where I want it and its solid.

Do the Burris rings allow for some adjustment to zero the torch beam to a set distance?

i quite like the hikmicro quick mount, it comes with a spherical washer that allows you to twist into position and then tighten

however i haven't used it in the field yet

Burris will allow you to set up torch to any angle and distance you require. The Ludicrous lumens mount works on the same principle. If your using one torch on one rifle Burris is best. If your moving torches between rifles then LL is slightly better option. LL now has a v good selection of mounting systems.
