Advice - Diesel Quad ?

Do any of the SD membership own or use a diesel quad bike.
I notice Arctic-Cat manufacture a number of diesel models which boast high torque output, which is appealing for my intended use

All advice welcome.

My experience with diesel quads, admittedly older models was they were noisy, heavy and gutless but things might of changed...?

Is there not a back story with artic cat? Did they not get bought over by nassey and than halfed there warranty?
Or did the build quality change?
A local agri dealer must of had good deals on them as they sold a lot in a fairly short space of time

When they 1st came out all the farmers bought them, were the best thing ever for about 4 years (often 2 new bikes) now u never ever see them
1 valley in paticular near me all the farmers had them for 2-4 years now all back onto the more 'normal' makes.
Dunno if the build quality changed on the newer bikes but the 2nd new artic cat they bought were slagged by the farmers

Also quite big and heavy, prob need a bigger/wider traier than ur normal 7x4, also prob to high and heavy to lift/dig out of a wet hole urself

Brother in law had a diesel quad. A tank of red lasted a long time, decent amount of power. If you got it stuck and didn’t have a winch you were walking to the nearest tractor! Heavy barstewards

Noisy, gutless, short warranty, heavy and wide, lack of dealerships. My question has been answered, cheers everyone :)
