Always been a lamp man,but now decided to take advantage of the modern times. Done a bit of research but I am even more confused now. Can you recommend one up to £1100 need to spot identify fox up to 300-350 yards if possible at all for that price limit. As well for same purpose day/nv scope sightmark write 4k or pard ds35 will be better (with decent IR). Thanks in advance

Add a 2nd hand Yukon N470s, a decent IR laser + adjustable mounts and for less than £1500 you're sorted.

I can tell you one thing the next man will tell you another and so on and so on and after all that you will be more confused than when you started was what I found when I was getting my spotter and the best thing I did was to physically look though as many as I could and make my own choice and even better is if you can get a couple together to look through

You are right but at least will get some direction, and then problem is I am in Northern Ireland and so far everything I spot in stores is well above my budget. It will be pretty much online order but again from experience I don't trust on products description. That's why looking for first hand experience here.
Thanks

Sorry, I meant the new one I bought to replace the cheapy

Pulsar xq35 lrf is what I bought
Way above £1100 though, the Guide was just shy of £2k a couple of years ago, very useable and plenty of bang per buck for less than £1k, brand new, full warranty.

Morning H.
I have the Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 which I bought immediately after a pal lent me his Pulsar Axion 30 for a week deerstalking in Perthshire. I use it a lot day and night and for foxing paired with a Pard 008p it is a complete gamechanger - totally unfair on foxes. On the strength of looking through mine several pals have bought 30s and 35s too.
I live in Norn Ireland too so if you want to pm me we might be able to meet up and you could have a look at the Pulsar.

Good morning Foxyboy, really appreciate your offer. Will get in touch later. Just started work now :tiphat:

You could get a good S/H Xq 38 Helion for £1k. It will do all you need and more. Latest Pulsar and Hikmicro are superb but you will need to spend close to £2K.
N470S is very good sadly now discontinued. They do occasionally come up on here. Can't fault mine not good in bright daylight but from dusk onwards more than does the job.
