Wanted: Air pistol

I would get one of these for point blank humane dispatch of a squirrel. Full power if you pump them up a few times, no recoil. Not many pistols have the power to dispatch but this will and it wont break the bank either.

Hi folks , just wondering if anyone has an air pistol knocking about that they don’t use anymore, before I look at new .
Not looking for anything immaculate but obviously must work properly , only need it to use as a dispatch pistol , when dealing with the greys when caught in cage traps , & can carry easily on my person ,anyone has anything , please get in touch , thanks for looking .
Bearing in mind that by law an air pistol is limited to 6 ft/lbs (and so most will be set to maybe 1 ft/lb or even 1.5 ft/lb under that) I think you'll be disappointed. I bought a secondhand Westlake .177" to save lugging my BSA Scorpion T10 PCP air rifle to my friend's house and not one pellet penetrated a squirrel skull at one inch distance.

If you are going down the air pistol route I'd suggest a Crosman pump up as has another on the thread. If you can't then at the very least test your intended choice against a empty baked bean or rice pudding and similar tin can at one inch. Not a flimsy beer can. Just be careful that the pellet likely won't penetrate but come back at you. If it can't penetrate that tin can it won't penetrate a squirrel skull either.
