August 14 i send you an email asking how it is going.
Feb 15 look below this thread. There it is again stating that I have tried to contact you without success
June 15 I am busy moving
Oct 15 Again asking on SD for you to make contact.

For interest sake what does the 5% mean regarding the weight of the head?Never saw anything like that on any head scored before.

Edited to say ive just saw the dates and its obviously only a provisional score as it was scored only 6 days after being shot if im reading it right.Ive never seen CIC taking a 5% deduction for a green head and thats maybe where BASC got the idea from if thats whats happened.

Well I am no CIC scorer. Richard Prior was and as the head was under the time it was supposed to be he deducted another 5%.
I'd had it drying hard on a boiler for the days before. That is why his comment is 'Green'.

Very interesting as BASC were being laughed at for suggesting a system where they could guesstimate a percentage to subtract to allow a green head to be measured when a CIC measurer has been doing it for many years or so it seems.
Should get it done properly now fella and make it official.It could even score more or possibly really be a silver.

Well I only have ever shot 1x for myself and it ain't on my wall. So I guess it must be.

Gents no one is coming out of this well, and both of the members concerned are in good standing on this forum. I understand a little about taxidermy, and the feathers falling out can be down to the physical condition of the bird when shot, it may simply have loose feathers that fall out, or it can be down to the way the carcass is protected after being shot. As a very amateur taxidermist i could not tell from a photo, and doubt anyone could.
For both your future credibility on the forum, have a private chat, via email, text, pm or on the phone. You wont fix this without private correspondence.

I have to agree, some of Alba's emails look like they were written by a 12 year old spoiling for an argument!
