All round bore cleaner recommendations

I used Balistoll for a long time with occasional KG12 de-copperisation but I have switched to Boretec Eliminator and light coating of Boretec Friction Guard for storage,
Balistoll is very useful lubricant and protector.
Note: If you are switching to Eliminator you can't use any tools that containe brass, copper or bronze so you will have to buy all new brushes, jags and mops.

Forrest bore foam for me. But ignore the instructions and leave it in overnight.
And before you squirt it into the bore put a plastic bag over the muzzle secured with an elastic band.
I A friend didn't do this and my his other half went ballistic because it allegedly clearly leaves stains on walls that have been painted with emulsion.

Just spray it carefully into the bin and wait for it to ooze from the muzzle before pulling the nozzle out. Never had a problem with it.

I don't use it anymore.
I have what is left of a can in the cupboard which is years old but have been using Wipeout since it was introduced in the UK and subsequently Tactical Advantage.
I get better results and it's less messy.

I use Forrest foam (hanging the muzzle over the loo), then patch out, followed by Ballistol on a Phosphor Bronze brush and more patches. Seems to work well and doesn’t take long

I use Bore tech and Ballistol. Centre fire and Rimfire/airguns.

My wife says the Ballistol smells like cat pee, don’t know about that as I’ve been using it for about 6 years and the smell is no loner offensive ;)
