Alpex recoil zoom

This video is from last night, interestingly the Aplex jumps to 28x zoom on the shot. Has anyone seen this before? I updated the firmware yesterday afternoon.

Not got an Alpex but my Nocpix Ace 60r has the same feature. However mine automatically zooms 'out' after the shot to enable a full field of view. Yours seems to be the reverse -and wrong way in my opinion.

Yes, I’d agree. Hopefully it is just a one off, I’ll test it again this week. My ATN X-Sight does the zoom out thing, which I don’t like at all!
