Slightly off topic but during lockdown I made up an Excel list of all my powders, primers, bullets held in each calibre, if it is factory ammo or reloads with all relevant load date. It was a real PITA to do but now works really well, as after a loading session I just update the list it make tracking of what you have and where it is much easier, shocked me though how many bullets with lead cores I had collected during my USA trips. It was just a thought , might be worth starting a thread as to the expected life of brass in various chamberings.
Who knows , 8 to 10 for the .270 may be exceptional ?
Regards
P.S . I would do it if it weren't for my crippling laziness.
Or build your own for about £150. Plenty of vids on you tube and parts available on Amazon !
Not made but bought S/H a Caselife annealer. Very, quick, easy to set up and dammed fast. Has done all I needed for a long while in 3 quick short bursts. I usually have a small qty of sacrificial cases that I use to fine tune the speed but once that’s done all I have to do is top it up as it cycles through. KISS - this is beautifully simple! It would be interesting to hear from someone who has made, uses and has success with a single torch annealer. Of the three methods I have read about induction would be the most convenient, while the gas torch method would suit someone processing small amounts.

Currently in the process of building my own. Just waiting on a couple of parts to come in from Amazon and it will be finished. £150ish all in with the blow torch.
That sounds like it could be useful. I have data, but it is a bit disjointed. As I have used more than one notebook (as it depends on which one I find) at the time.Slightly off topic but during lockdown I made up an Excel list of all my powders, primers, bullets held in each calibre, if it is factory ammo or reloads with all relevant load date. Parts list available in the subject of the Youtube video albeit across the pond. A quick google on each item will point you in the right direction. That looks really interesting perhaps share the parts list when complete.
Thanks for doing that.Parts list available in the subject of the Youtube video albeit across the pond. A quick google on each item will point you in the right direction.
