It's long been recognised that high concentrations of lead from detonation fumes are a high risk within enclosed indoor shooting ranges. The only one that I used to frequent closed down years ago because they couldn't afford the onerous costs of sufficient air filtering and forced ventilation. Staff are particularly at risk for obvious reasons so the above report isn't surprising. What isn't clear is where the lead is from lead bullets or from Lead Styphnate used in primers. (or both).
