I'm amazed at how quickly I was getting tight groups out of my PH 1200 300 Win Mag.
I'm firing PPU 145 grain at 3140ft/sec.
My question is:
I read this week it's probably a 1:11.5 twist rate. So what grain weight am I looking at being an efficient heavy load?

I use 245 grain Bergers. Mind you, I have a custom 1 in 8 twist. Shoots superbly, and poleaxes anything it hits.

When my 300 Win Mag had a 1 in 10 twist, it would handle 230 grain Berger OTM's. Most will handle at least 220 grain.
Anything of a slower twist rate, best to avoid!
