So long as they aren`t used for serious off road use they may survive , better off for shopping runs

If it aint Jap its crap , residual value should be a serious consideration , better to buy a used Hi Lux or L200 for the same money ,then no one can laugh at you.

Would not buy another L200 ever !
crap rust protection, and i waxoiled it from new !
not good mpg
not brilliant on soft wet ground
crap back up to known problems
crew cab rear seats are dire with a foward view of the head lineing
Not met a long term owner that has not had engine problems ! My v6 petrol destroyed it's self at less than 60k
