Messed about with the windage turret on my Meopta Meostar R2 and the dial won't turn the brass tube now. Looks like there is a 'wavy' piece of metal acting as a brake or limiter that assists the dial and is stuck.

The plastic dial won't 'grip' the corresponding brass section and turn it - seemingly as this bit of metal is topping the brass section from turning.

Been in touch direct with Meopta and they want a minimum of 600 euro to just look at it...... . Scope is worth about that, so wondering if it is worth doing......

If there is anyone who could take a look at it here in the UK that someone would recommend?

Does part of the bezel go down in there and push that off the brass piece??

Take the dial out and see if you can figure out where the wavy bit should go, then put back together. Or throw in bin

Really not sure - I suspect the metal bit is supposed to free up when the plastic dialling bit is pressed down onto the spring and releases so it can turn. Seems the metal 'brake' is stuck in the locked position.
