Any scope repairers on here...have a mechanical issue.

Messed about with the windage turret on my Meopta Meostar R2 and the dial won't turn the brass tube now. Looks like there is a 'wavy' piece of metal acting as a brake or limiter that assists the dial and is stuck.

The plastic dial won't 'grip' the corresponding brass section and turn it - seemingly as this bit of metal is topping the brass section from turning.

Been in touch direct with Meopta and they want a minimum of 600 euro to just look at it...... 😳. Scope is worth about that, so wondering if it is worth doing......

If there is anyone who could take a look at it here in the UK that someone would recommend?

Some photos of the offending piece of metal attached.

Yes, I know.... what the f**k was I messing with it for...... 🙄
