Anybody mince pheasants

Was thinking about trying to mince pheasants, mainly the breast and the legs for a raw food supplement for my dogs, just wondering if anyone has done it and what mincer they used That would mince the bone in the legs.
We had a boxer dog once over that I gave rabbits to and she would eat the whole thing head guts the whole show so thought I might be able to use the pheasant legs for my fussy vizsla’s
any advice much appreciated and hope you are all having a great Christmas.

I wouldn’t go mincing pheasant bones, they tend to produce some nasty splinters.

I've got an Andrew James mincer. Nothing fancy just a domestic one but I've put whole chicken carcasses through it including leg bones no problem. I've done up to 30kg at a time with no problems using the coarsest setting.

Unless pheasant bones are much stronger than chicken bones I wouldn't worry about splinters from raw bones, especially if run through a mincer first.

My first dog would swallow small rabbits whole if he thought I was going to try and take it off him He once ate half a new born lamb, wool and all that had been killed and dragged into some woods by a fox or badger and stashed. He had horrific wind for two days then proceeded to poo out what looked like a giant dreadlock must have been like a boresnake for his insides

I’m asking the question as I am unsure about wether the pheasant bones would be an issue, if so I will just have to mince the breast meat.

One tip if your mincing pheasant breasts and legs cut along the shot track to make sure no lead shot in there

there is really no need to mince meat for dogs unless its to save space in the freezer.
ive fed legs bones with the thigh meat saved for me and whole carcass. but it was raw.
if your mincer will handle a rabbit no issues with dogs eating that but your dogs will almost certainly get tape worms
