Not asking you to. You've made an assertion that implies a level of corruption, one that does not exist. The majority of vets are not paid to recommend food (other than a few who make a specific brand). Even in a large corporate structure (currently just over half of total practices) the vets still have a degree of independence.

We have a vets in town which when I was young was owned by a lovely couple, nowadays it’s part of a big group that a while back made the telegraph about the extortionate markups they did on medicines.
Back nearer to the topic then I wouldn’t buy dog food from the vets surgery I’d buy from a reputable pet food store.
