Anyone fitted a Spartan adaptor to a M12 synthetic sporter stock

I've got one of the older sporter stocks on my M12, with the sling swivel right at the front of the forend rather than on the underside. I've got a spare standard Spartan adaptor and was looking to put it on this stock.

Anyone done this on an older Mauser stock? Don't think there anything pre drilled to use as a pilot hole.

Tikka was easy as I just replaced the front sling screw, on my Supervarmint; but the Mauser is a classic slender forend so think it's going to need drilling ......

Any advice -apart from don't bother - appreciated.

Can you get an adapter that goes in where the sling swivel is fitted ? I’m sure I’ve seen pictures of them on similar stocks.
